Review Paper on Biometrics Authentication based on Liveness Detection Methods

Nowadays, biometrics is widely used for the purpose of authentication than state of art methods because it provides much higher security and convenience. However, biometric authentication can be easily bypassed by using a fake synthetic or reconstructed sample which is substantial problem and need o be resolved quickly. In this paper, a study of various attacks in the field of different types of biometrics and different software based fake detection methods which are used to detect the different types of unauthorized attacks especially spoofing attacks is reviewed.
