ENSURING DATA SECURITY IN INTERNET OF THINGS THROUGH THRESHOLD CRYPTOGRAPHY AND BLOOM FILTERS FOR DATA DE-DUPLICATION PURPOSES

The current system requires the use of edge servers to manage users' private keys and employs searchable public-key encryption to improve data querying security and efficiency. Our proposed system addresses security concerns such as confidentiality of data, secure data sharing and searching, and eliminating a single point of failure. To address these issues, we propose a conspiracy-free data de-duplication protocol using a threshold blind signature scheme with multiple trusted servers. This prevents attackers from using stolen labels to gain unauthorized access to the entire data set.Our design uses the Chinese Remainder Theorem to hide signature keys, which balances the security needs of both the user and the service provider. However, preventing redundancy in storage or communication while maintaining security is not trivial. Our scheme is the only one that satisfies the semantic security of ciphertext and tags. While other schemes exist, they suffer from conflicts between functionality, confidentiality, and authority, and are vulnerable to dictionary attacks. Our protocol also employs Bloom filters to provide evidence of ownership and prevent unauthorized access. We use homomorphic calculations to aggregate and generate partial tags and introduce secret sharing based on the Chinese Remainder Theorem to hide key information. Our protocol outperforms other schemes in terms of communication and computation performance.
