Design and Implementation of Intelligent Bus-Stop Boards System

To improve the intelligence of urban public transportation management and tackle the pain points of public transportation for urban residents, a multi-functional intelligent bus stop system is proposed and implemented in this paper. The system includes two main functions: dynamic information service of buses and multimedia video broadcasting. The system improves the user experience during waiting time effectively. This paper discusses the background and technical architecture of the system in detail. The results indicate that the system fulfils the design requirements. It offers a dynamic intercommunication approach to meet the communication needs of buses. The intelligent bus stop boards display location and arrival time of buses. It should be noted that the device provides analysis results of bus route that reduce waiting time of passengers.
