The spectrum allocation and administrations have gained paramount of significance due to security issues in wireless communication systems. In Cognitive Radio Networks (CRN), identifying malicious users and denying the access is a fundamental requirement for allocation of the spectrum. Unauthorized access to the spectrum poses several challenges for spectrum management. The bandwidth purchased by the primary users in turn can offer the portion of the bandwidth to secondary users. Nevertheless, malicious secondary users can access by misusing identity. Further attacker can modify the primary signal to reallocate the spectrum to different distinguished users as secondary users. The problem attracts to adopt the blockchain technology which empowers the spectrum management efficiency. In this paper, private blockchain based security scheme is developed for securing the spectrum allocation and extend the spectrum access to only authorized SUs. The proposed method is analysed by comparing with existing methods discussed and available in several research papers in the literature.
