Certificates serve as a testament to an individual's credentials and proficiency in a certain field. They are official documents that attest to the acquisition of specific skills and knowledge. However, in a college setting, the credibility of certificates may be compromised due to factors such as counterfeiting, misuse, and improper storage. To address this challenge, a blockchain-based document verification system can be implemented. Blockchain technology is well-suited for this purpose due to its inherent immutability, which ensures the authenticity and integrity of the certificates. This system would consist of a feature rich user interface for certificate verification and issuance, combined with a blockchain-based storage mechanism. This would allow students to maintain a secure and verifiable portfolio of their certificates, thereby preventing any potential forgery or manipulation.
