A physical coding sublayer for Gigabit Ethernet over POF

In this paper we define a new Physical Coding Sublayer, using an efficient coding to lower bandwidth requirements and including FEC to correct transmission errors, in order to achieve Gigabit data transmission over POF, as part of POF-PLUS European project.
