In wireless communication systems, could a frequency band allocated to a specific user be used by another user at the same time? The foundations of cellular communication systems have been laid with the answer to this question posed due to frequency scarcity. The communication area is divided into cells with a certain radius. Frequency re-use was performed by using the frequency bands used in this cell in other cells that are not adjacent to this cell. the first cellular communication system realized with the use of these cellular structures is the first generation (1G) systems.
