IP‐Based WPAN and WLAN
Dr. Suat Seçgin · 2023
Thanks to the flexibility provided by IP-based communication, a wide variety of local area network solutions have been developed for wireless networks, similar to wired networks. IP-based wireless personnel networks (WPAN) and wireless local area networks (WLAN) can be established for the installation and remote control of IoT and M2M systems. These structures are often used in both home automation and industrial automation applications. In this section, each infrastructure will be explained by dividing it into its architecture, protocol and application areas.
