Electronic gadgets are included in all the recent technological advancements. While increased features and functionality are provided by these gadgets, they have new risks which are a threat to all target devices which were previously considered safe. A new phenomenon known as “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) has resulted from the introduction of smart devices such as mobile phones and laptops, whereby an institution's employees can process on their own personal devices or conduct their tasks. In the classrooms, educators feel that it promotes greater participation in favor of BYOD. Students quickly become more interested in learning when new technologies are incorporated. In the community, it could foster a positive image. Even though it's having that huge positive impact, parallelly the most concerning issues are security and data privacy with the use of BYOD.
