PERFORMANCE AND ACTIVITY HANDLING DIGITALIZATION USING ERP SYSTEM WITH CLOUD DEPLOYMENT

International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science · 2023

This research paper explores the performance and activity handling aspects of digitalized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems deployed in the cloud. The study aims to investigate the consequences and benefits of incorporating digitalization and cloud deployment into ERP systems, as well as propose solutions for unlocking their potential using advanced technologies and modern solutions. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining a case study analysis and a survey, to gather data from organizations that had implemented digitalized ERP systems with cloud deployment. The analysis of the collected data revealed that digitalization and cloud deployment enhance project management capabilities, improve system performance and user experience, streamline activities, and promote effective collaboration among team members. The findings highlight the benefits of digitalization and cloud deployment, such as improved efficiency, enhanced coordination, and better decision-making.The research provides insights for organizations considering digitalizing their ERP systems and deploying them in the cloud, while acknowledging factors such as internet connectivity, data security, and user interface design. The limitations of the research include the availability of a diverse sample and the specific nature of the evaluated ERP system. In conclusion, the study successfully achieves its objectives, reviews existing literature, presents implementation details, and discusses the implications of the findings, contributing to the understanding of ERP systems, digitalization, and cloud deployment.
