With the growing improvement of open-source cloud platforms, power consumption is an essential difficulty in cloud computing which offers a large wide variety of machines. Virtualization enables data centers to consolidate their services with smaller physical waiters and share tackle coffers with them. Multihued strategies have been developed in this field to conduct the scheduling of Virtual Machines (VMs) over Physical Machines(PMs). There’s a necessity to enhance the energy effectiveness of statistics installations by using a waiter connection in order to limit the range of PMs. In our work, we present a novel approach termed Optimal Search-Open Nebula-based Cloud (OS-OC) scheduler within a realistic cloud infrastructure using the Open Nebula tool. The OS-OC scheduler aims at minimizing energy consumption and also satisfies clients’ QoS (Quality of Service) by optimally assigning VMs. The consequences exhibit that the OS-OC strategy outperforms traditional heuristic primarily based methodologies and obtains exceptional scheduling with minimal strength consumption. The proposed OS-OC scheduler outperforms in terms of energy when compared to the existing schedulers in cloud computing. The existing real-time scheduler results and that of the OS-OC scheduler is compared and analysis is done for different numbers of hosts with varying number of VMs at different times. The experimental outcome of different hosts consumed less energy in VMs.
