There are a large number of risks inherent in the contemporary business world. The healthcare industry is specifically vulnerable to cybercrime as it depends to a large extent on electronic health information. The increasing threat presented by cybercrime should be considered by organizations when formulating their emergency operating mechanisms. It is also important for healthcare providers to understand the critical cybersecurity scenarios and to prepare themselves according. The only ways security risks and dangers can be decreased are through alertness, awareness, preparedness, and rapid response. This is not easy but can be achieved if one is willing to remain committed to this cause for a long time; it will lead to extensive benefits for a strong healthcare ecosystem.
