VISION BASED HUMAN FALL DETECTION SYSTEM

The vision based human fall detection system uses Raspberry pi and YOLO algorithm which describes a computer vision system.This system takes the real-time video as an input from the camera, then it applies the YOLO algorithm to detect the human in particular frame.After detecting the human in frame the system uses Alpha-pose estimation to detect Skeletal pose of the human and then it determines whether the fall has occurred.If fall has occurred then the system sends message to the caretaker.This technology has capability to improve the quality of life of elderly and disabled individuals by providing them safety and security measures.
