Anaconda, Spyder and the Libraries NumPy, Matplotlib and SymPy

Stephen Lynch · 2023

Anaconda Individual Edition is currently the world&s;s most popular Python distribution platform. Spyder (Scientific PYthon Development Learning Environment) is a Python environment that looks and performs similar to MATLAB® and can be accessed through Anaconda. The reader is introduced to the NumPy (numerical Python), matplotlib (matrix plotting library) and SymPy (symbolic computation) libraries through Spyder. The main advantage of using Spyder is that the reader does not need access to the internet to run Python code. Plots can also be dealt with interactively; for example, three-dimensional plots can be rotated.
