To achieve the terminal host data backup and recovery needs of the important information system, the characteristics of commonly used traditional data backup technologies are compared and analyzed. After sorting out the main problems such as large data loss, long recovery time, inconvenient management and operation, and high construction cost, the stand-alone continuous data protection system technology is studied. Through the use of the key technologies such as holographic logs of data block changes and backup information protection, the problems of system data continuous backup and fast recovery of terminal host based on stand-alone computer are effectively solved. At the same time, it is easy to operate, the system cost is low, the system comprehensive index is relatively balanced, and it can be widely used in terminal host data protection of important information system. It provides reliable system emergency recovery and business support capabilities, especially when the system is attacking by malicious code, which causing host paralyzation, system damage, file encryption, etc. It can quickly and effectively recover and restore the system and files in emergency, and greatly improve system availability.
