Recent advances in artificial intelligence techniques for identifying fake accounts: a review

Online social networks are still growing; as a result, more people are opening accounts every day. However, not all of those accounts are for actual persons. The creation of fake accounts and bots is terrifying, and it has a negative impact on society. Because of this, numerous researchers have worked to develop efficient systems that identify false accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. We will investigate this through analysis of recent research in this field.
