International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science · 2023
The increase in crime rates is a growing concern in our modern society.Despite the importance of reporting crimes to ensure justice for victims and prevent further criminal activity, many individuals are hesitant to come forward due to fear of reprisals, such as being subjected to unnecessary processes and interrogations. To address this issue, our platform aims to promote social responsibility among individuals and encourage them to report crimes they have witnessed. We understand the fear of retaliation is a real concern for many witnesses, and our platform offers the option for anonymous reporting, thereby removing the fear of punishment and enabling individuals to come forward without fear.By providing the option for anonymous reporting, our platform aims to make it easier for witnesses to provide valuable testimony that can lead to the capture and prosecution of criminals. This is crucial for ensuring that justice is served and that our communities are safe from criminal activity. In addition to offering anonymity, our platform also incentivizes individuals to provide testimony by offering compensation for their contributions. This compensation serves as a token of appreciation for their bravery in coming forward and providing valuable information that can help bring criminals to justice.
