RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM USING JACCARD’S SIMILARITY

The following research paper puts forth the idea of a book recommendation system developed using machine learning techniques.The two approaches used in the system are content based filtering and collaborative filtering algorithms along with a hybrid model combining both approaches.The main working model involved taking real world datasets and running them through algorithms till the results achieved were more optimum and satisfactory for users based on their preferences and book browsing habits than the traditional recommender systems.
