Industry 4.0 is the future of this generation. This is possible only via modern technologies like CPS, IoT, cloud computing, big data, and AI. CPS is the revolutionizing technology creating the basis of industry 4.0. IoT is the tech that lets the CPS smart devices to communicate and network with each other's and over the cloud. In this paper, we are going to have the basics of CPS x IoT and their architecture. Then we will understand some security related case studies- like how voice assistants can be smart spies, Mirai Botnet- how it became one of the world's most dangerous IoT malware and an attack on lifeline infrastructure a water treatment facility. Next there are some use case scenarios. Finally, there will be given some security, design and development related challenges for this technology.
