The NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) program is an initiative to provide accessibility to the resources of well-structured courses that are developed in the reputed institutions of the country. In this study, we attempt to identify the correctness, completeness, and quality of the developed NPTEL web portal. In the many forms and page redirects, we attempt to test the validation of input fields and performance using the automated software testing tool, Selenium. By incorporating the black-box testing strategy and its conditions, the NPTEL portal and its subsidiary portal, the GATE portal, were tested. The goal of the study is to analyse the presence of vulnerabilities in the NPTEL Portal and assess it for robustness and adaptability.
