Aerospace technology has entered the era of high modularization and integration. In order to ensure the tactical performance of the aerospace system and improve the availability and reliability, a FPGA+DSP based heterogeneous multi-core digital system hardware design scheme is proposed in this paper. The scheme has flexible structure and strong universality, which is suitable for modular design. Furthermore, in order to enhance the reliability of the system, an embryonic-based circuit design framework for avionic applications is proposed. The design framework combines the advantages of bio-inspired self-repairing technology and dynamic reconfiguration, which supports on-chip self-test and fault tolerance. The proposed architecture can be widely used as a new platform for self-repairing systems.
