Automated gestures recognition is becoming a standard as it provides improved human health without getting in the way of daily life routine. The goal of this proposed approach is to support the innovative research for artificial intelligence and signal processing and to deliver a virtual reality application for gestures recognition. Main objective is to use the exergaming concept and develop a system for viable gestures recognition by relating the motion sensors and virtual reality gear. Moreover, the proposed system will also help the remote applications of rehabilitation, gaming, and training. A unique human movement analysis to attain precise accuracy rates is proposed. For this purpose, a model having a variety of compulsory steps such as noise removal, segmentation, movement analysis, data features, featured codebook, and gestures recognition. To evaluate the performance of this system, we used benchmarked datasets related to sports activities recognition along with practical testing in a virtual environment.
