Optimization of AODV Routing Protocol in Emergency Communication Network
Siyu Dong · 2023
In natural disasters and emergencies, the communication infrastructure in disaster areas is often severely damaged, causing great obstacles to rescue work. Mobile Ad Hoc networks are widely used because they can quickly network without infrastructure. In order to enhance the communication transmission performance of the network and the ability to quickly reconstruct routes, the AODV (Ad Hoc on demand Distance Vector) routing protocol is optimized by adding backup routes to the routing table entries. Simulation experiments show that the optimized AODV protocol reduces the number of routing hops and reduces the routing discovery time.
