CERN can cover its future electricity needs with RE sources using a mix of Wind and Solar PV. CERN should aim to tap into RES projects across Europe By leveraging long-term baseload contracts, CERN can lock in the electricity price and achieve long-term price stability. Depending on the chosen option to manage excess contracted capacity, CERN can position itself as a leading energy battery for Europe.
