Intrusion Detection in Health Care System: A logistic Regression Approach

In the current scenario, the impact of deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML) approaches is increasing day by day in variety of fields. Other than this, intrusion detection (ID) system is also playing a critical role in managing the computing and network resources. IDS is also a probable mechanism against cyber-attacks. Keeping all these together, one can make use of DL and ML techniques in IDS against various cybercrimes and in healthcare systems against these attacks. Here, in this paper we have discussed ML, its types, applications and its comparison with DL. We have proposed the use of ML and DL in IDS. Finally, we have presented a model based on Logistic Regression to analyze CSECIC-IDS2018. This paper also verified the result for same.
