Wavelet Transform Based Algorithm for the Hop Rate Estimation of Frequency Hopping Signal

In this paper, the expression of amplitude of the wavelet transform of frequency hopping signal is derived, and the uniform approximate expression is given, so is the approximate expression of amplitude of the wavelet transform of frequency hopping signal. By using the information about symbol rate which is related to singular points in the received signal, a new hop rate estimation algorithm of frequency hopping signal is proposed based on the wavelet transform, without any prior knowledge. Finally, the simulation result proves the feasibility and efficiency of this algorithm.
