Analysis of Linux Server Performance

This report presents an analysis of how performance tuning on Enterprise Linux impacts the performance of different server programs. While researchers historically measure performance based on one or more of the following parameters: memory, I/O, networking or CPU, these are just some of the server programs that should be considered when performance are analysed. Naturally, these four parameters are influenced differently by the impact of tuning and tuning which, in turn, sets the acoustics curve of each one of the server programs being measured.
