Side-Channel Analysis and pseudo-Boolean functions

Meriem Mahar, Hacène Belbachir, Abdellah Mokrane · 2022

The development of classical cryptanalysis makes possible to assess the security of symmetric and asymmetric encryption algorithms. A vulnerability of these algorithms lies in their physical implementations. Indeed during their executions, several physical parameters can be retrieved thanks to the side-channel analysis, and thus provide information about the used encryption keys. The objective of this work is to suggest one or more side-channel attack (or significant improvements), based on the properties of pseudo-Boolean functions modeling the leakage.
