When we launched our prototype development project GINOP-2.1.7-15-2016-02220 in 2018 (financed by the Europen Union and The Hungarian Government), the aim was to create a relatively small and lightweight compact outdoor security camera that can be easily and quickly installed in locations where power supply is limited (power supply is not available or the installation of an electrical power supply is not possible or would be disproportionately expensive). The first step in the implementation of such a solution is to find a camera that meets the above criteria, the planned the radio sensor modules required for its operation and the prototype of the associated service development. To help us carry out this task, it was helpful to have a clear understanding of the needs and perspectives of our potential clients an in-depth study that provided us with useful insights not only on the launch and marketing of the product, but also on the technical features that the product should have for a successful launch and those that are less relevant. The definition of the features was followed by the definition of the basic hardware elements capable of performing these functions of the hardware. In the course of this work, several rational solutions were explored and tested many of them in practice. In defining the technical parameters of the prototype, we have tried to ensure that all aspects that will be used in the future in the design and implementation of the hardware. remote monitoring needs that may arise in the future. In this spirit, the central unit optional modules, such as analogue and digital input enclosures, which can be added to the for a wide range of applications. During the development of the prototype, the need arose to include not only a camera module operating in the visible light range in the motion controlled Security Camera system, but also the possibility to connect a thermal camera module prototype. The resulting prototype fulfilled our expectations. After project clousing, we are already planning to test the first versions of the prototype product in a live environment with our real partners.
