Task Allocation and Path Planning Method For Multi-Autonomous Forklift Navigation

Hardi Kurnianto, Pranoto Hidaya Rusmin · 2022

The growth of the e-commerce sector necessitates the automation of warehouses. For the optimal automated warehouse, multi-autonomous forklift research is vital. Factors including computing time, safe navigation, and task effectiveness must be carefully taken into account. In this work, we suggest a system that participates in task assignment and conflict resolution in order to address these concerns. The job allocation function uses the Hungarian method to determine the shortest path, and the Conflict Priority Based Search function is used by the conflict solver to resolve the collision. According to tests performed in various warehousing settings and task modes, this method has a marginally 14.44 % lower overall path cost than the previous method.
