Towards an Artificial Intelligence Framework to Actively Defend Cyberspace & e applications of Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity

The Internet’s expansion as a new power domain and the development of Informationand Communications Technology has introduced an unprecedented magnitude of convenience andefficiency to its users Thus, human intervention and capacity is not enough to sufficiently dealwith advanced threats, speed of processes, the amount of data, and the vulnerability of intrusion.This paper proposes the use of an AI framework to address these advanced threats. The counteringof advanced adversaries requires an active approach to security that will place an emphasis onproactive measures, real time detection, active monitoring and mitigation of key threats. The ratesat which cyber-attacks are performed have made the cybersecurity unprotected and make itimpossible for the security experts to evaluate and combat every new type of cyber-attack. Today'sdigital age necessarily requires the protection of a vast amount of valuable electronic data fromcyber-attacks. Cyber-attacks can destroy the reputation of organizations even shutdownorganizations. The protection of cybersecurity is inevitable. In this paper, we have highlighted thepotential applications of AI in cybersecurity.
