Applying AMBIT principles to the training process

Abstract The AMBIT training process involves the application of AMBIT principles, as well as training in them. Learning is central to the AMBIT approach, and the learning principles that are used in the practice of AMBIT are also used in training, starting with close attention to the relationship between trainer and trainee and the requirement to generate epistemic trust for learning to take place. The principles of Active Planning are particularly salient to training, and the elements of sensitive attunement and broadcasting intentions are described in the training context. In addition to the relationship between trainer and trainee, the role of training in strengthening and supporting relationships in both teams and networks is covered.
