This research aims to propose a middleware architecture for efficient and secure communication between different microservices in a distributed system. In today’s world, the user’s expectation of software has dramatically increased due to technical advancements in hardware and software technologies. To stand with these advancements, new types of architectures and designs are created for implementation at each level of the software development lifecycle. Nowadays, large-scale industry-standard software is generally based on distributed cloud architecture where multiple autonomous systems are connected centrally, and the code base of the entire application is divided into these systems. The division of the code base is usually done based on microservice architecture and the transfer of instructions and data between them is controlled through a centrally managed domain policy through middleware. We are proposing an advanced producer-consumer model of middleware architecture which will deal with the communication and management of data among these microservices.
