MVP: Model–View–Presenter

Raúl Ferrer García · Apress eBooks · 2023

The Model-View-Presenter (MVP) pattern is a variation of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern, which is widely used in iOS development. The presenter serves as a bridge between the view and the model, receiving input from the view and updating the model as needed. The view is then updated with the model's updated data. Because changes to one aspect of the app do not affect the other aspects, this separation of concerns allows for more flexible and maintainable code. Furthermore, the MVP pattern encourages the separation of concerns and makes it simpler to add new features or fix bugs.
