Research and System Implementation of Automatic English Synonymy Selection in the Internet Environment

Taking English synonym terminology as an example, three effective technical means for automatically acquiring Internet terminology resources are proposed, including self-learning of grammatical patterns, extraction of online synonym dictionaries, and crawling of static synonym terminology categories. Based on this, a prototype system of Web Synonym Searcher is designed and implemented. Experimental tests show that automatic acquisition of synonym terms from the Internet is a very promising way.
