SAR images play an important role in target detection. However, speckle noise, thermal noise and azimuth blur in SAR images can interfere with the small weak scattering targets detection. The denoising algorithm based on Doppler power spectrum can simultaneously remove the speckle noise, thermal noise and azimuth blur of SAR images at the expense of resolution. We draw on the ideas of sparse representation and image fusion, and propose image restoration fusion based on sparse representation (IRF), which makes it possible to keep the contours of inland waters clear while suppressing SAR image noise.
