Dynamics of complex bodies with memory and vector-valued microstructure: Existence and uniqueness

We consider bodies with active microstructure described by a vector field with values ν∈R3. It complements the macroscopic displacement u∈R3. We prove existence and uniqueness for the dynamics of such a body under memory effects and a nonlinear microstructural behavior.
