The barrel section component is the most common external structural component of large spacecraft, and it is also one of the most vulnerable parts of the spacecraft. Due to the different degrees of damage caused by different impactors, in order to formulate different maintenance plans for different damage situations and achieve autonomous health management of spacecraft, it is necessary to establish a method for identifying impactors. The characteristic parameters of the time-domain signal waveform are analyzed by using three impactors with different stiffnesses to conduct impact experiments on cylinder-like components. Aiming at the inconspicuous characteristics of the signal part parameters in identifying the impactor, this paper proposes an independent component analysis-support vector machine identification method based on particle swarm optimization. The results show that the final model classification accuracy rate is 88.2%, which can effectively identify the impactor type.
