Creating your own AI 4-D cycle playbook

Teresa L. San Martín · 2023

This chapter provides a workspace for the building leadership team or district administrative team to address the topics, concerns, or problems of practice. A list of topics or concerns posed as questions are presented for the team to consider as the opportunity arises to put the rapid, change model process to test. The topic of inquiry chosen by the team to focus can be used with the template provided. The template serves as a guide as the team works through the possibilities in using the appreciative inquiry (AI) 4-D cycle as the chosen rapid, change model. Agendas based on group size and time limitations ranging from three 1-hour agendas to a one or two-day appreciative inquiry (AI) event/summit have been made available along with participant worksheets, an action plan template, and timeline template. In a rapidly changing environment, a guided play-by-play model is available for your team to discover, dream, design, and achieve a destiny, co-created by the results-based, shared leadership plan.
