Generalized net model of the connections between different types of transport in Bulgaria

The article describes a generalized net model of the connections between the different types of transport in a transport network encompassing six major Bulgarian towns. The crossings marked with letter indices represent six major towns in Bulgaria where there are real connections between the different types of transport networks (public and freight). The so created model offers possibilities for optimization and synchronization of the connections between different types of transport. Some possible applications of the model are also discussed.
