Information sharing using mixed reality

Neelesh Mungoli · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research) · 2023

AR/VR technology can be used to create mixed reality environments for spatial space sharing. This can be done by using pre-built AR development platforms such as Unity and Vuforia, or by building AR applications using game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine. These environments allow users to share and interact with virtual objects in real time and can enhance collaboration in fields such as training, field work, and data sharing. Advancements in the field include improved hardware, inside-out tracking, wireless VR, increased interactivity, improved graphics, spatial audio, and Extended Reality (XR) which is a combination of VR, AR and mixed reality.
