Adaptive Collaborative Relaying in High Mobility Environment

This paper proposes adaptive collaborative relaying in high mobility environment. The proposed adaptive collaborative applies filtering and forward relaying where all the signals received at the relays are filtered and simultaneously forwarded to the destination terminal for minimizing the relaying overhead and attaining the signal to noise power radio (SNR) gain at the destination terminal. Moreover, the proposed adaptive collaborative relaying selects the relays among all the relays based on the theoretical SNR during a packet where the Doppler shift is taken into account. The performance is evaluated by computer simulation where three relays are moving. The proposed relaying is shown to achieve SNR gain in fading channels.
