A Review Study on the Introduction Strategy of RFID in University Hospitals

The purpose of this study is to review related previous studies and to suggest strategies for introducing RFID to university hospitals. A university hospital's RFID introduction strategy should focus all its capabilities on system operation efficiency, medical service quality, and maximization of patient satisfaction. In addition, when a university hospital introduces an RFID system, an organizational culture that can share information on technical factors, organizational factors, environmental factors, economic factors, and human factors among management, medical staff, and employee will be required. A patient-oriented organizational culture will positively affect all aspects of the university hospital and contribute to the success of the RFID system.
