BLE Network Sensors with IoT Capability

This paper presents a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) network sensors. The sensor nodes of the network are based on a CC2541 microcontroller and play the role of the server. The network also contains a client that is designed around an ESP32 microcontroller. The client collects data from all sensor nodes and presents it on a local display. Furthermore, the ESP32 is connected to the internet using its Wi-Fi capability. In this way the sensor data can be accessed from everywhere by means of a smartphone with internet access. Experimental results are presented.
