Path planning algorithms find an accessible flying path while avoiding threats on their own. Multiple UAVs route planning is an issue that has to be solved, and a cost function for multiple UAVs route planning has been developed after analysing the crucial components that influence path planning such as radar range, length of travel, collision avoidance, etc. A particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) technique is used to show how to design static 2D routes and in conjunction with many unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). A MATLAB simulation is designed and tests show that these techniques can meet the needs of multiple UAVs path planning.
