A Review on Optimization of Hybrid LAN Computer Networks

Computer networks play an important role in our world today. Chief among them is the Hybrid LAN technology as it brings in advantages of flexibility and reliability. At this point of writing, current approaches can be improved in terms of better network response time and operating cost. The application of various new AI approaches primarilly various stochastic optimisation presents a new approach in implementing the optimisation of such networks. In this report, some state of the art approaches and limitations are investigated. Finally we present some reasearh gaps and oportunities in this area that are worth investigating.
