Client-Side JavaScript
David Matuszek · 2023
A primary use of JavaScript is the creation of interactive web pages. The first section of this chapter covers a minimal amount of HTML, then goes into detail on how to create widgets (text fields, buttons, forms, etc.), how to verify and submit forms, and how to handle events. The second section describes the DOM (Document Object Model) as a tree of Nodes representing absolutely everything on an HTML page, and how to access and modify those Nodes.
