The signals in MRI are multi-exponential decreases and the relaxation time constants provide many information on the tissues. The cartographies of those constants allow one to spatially analyze the aliments. The Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is usually used to nd the values of the constants. The maximum entropy method present several advantage compare to the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. The number of exponential components is not set and the algorithm is not initialized. The goal is to establish a cartography only from the MRI images. However, the method is more complex to use, partly due to the noise in MRI. This internship is a rst try on the application of the maximum entropy method to establish the cartographies of the relaxation times.
