On the optimal structure of power system multi-agent control

The article provides an overview of the application of multi-agent control, provides a classification of multi- agent system architectures, and analyzes existing methods for constructing the structure of multi-agent control in the electric power industry. A method for constructing an optimal structure of multi-agent optimal control is proposed. This method assumes the presence of a known objective function of centralized optimal control. An example of constructing a multi-agent optimal control system is given on the example of distributed voltage and reactive power control in the power system.
