Time Series Forecasting Using ARIMA Models: A Systematic Literature Review of 2000s

Software engineering involves gathering and designing requirements followed by coding and maintenance. With growing advancements, machine learning and forecasting have essentially become an extremely important part of the software process. Time series forecasting is one such area where researchers have shown consistent interests since the early 1900s. The current paper aims to survey and explore the research conducted in time series forecasting particularly related to ARIMA (AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average) models. For this, two decades of research have been mined and studied to understand the trend and efficiency of this model in time series forecasting.
